Charleston Home Sales forcast

Entering what is traditionally the busiest time of the year for real estate, the Charleston market has already seen it's share of early birds. With the election behind us and some great spring weather, we are seeing the strongest 1st quarter since we have been tracking (2004). Year to date, the Charleston market is up 12.4% in transactions and the median sales price up only a modest 3.9%, which is good. In the recent annual economic forecast, the Chamber of Commerce all but said our economy was unstoppable. Charleston was also just ranked The South's Best City in 2017 by Southern Living, who also has 23 Reasons to Visit Charleston (we have another list below). It is predicted this will be the best year Charleston has ever seen.
